Day 01: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport Darjeeling (98 kms / 3 hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 02: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early in the morning (around 4 am), proceed to Tiger Hill to view the breath taking view of Mt.Kanchandzonga (28,200 ft.) & effect of sunlight on the same along with the adjoining peaks like Kabru & Pandim. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. After breakfast proceed for a half day excursion to Himalayan Mountaineering (HMI) & Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, Tea garden (outer view), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Sunday closed) etc.
Day 03: Darjeeling Joy Ride & Tea Garden
Today you will start your journey with two hours Joy Ride, a heritage ride by ‘Darjeeling Himalayan Railway’. DHR was built between 1879 & 1881. It was awarded the world heritage status by UNESCO. Joy Ride is a two hour journey starting from Darjeeling Station to Ghoom via Batasis Loop & back to Darjeeling.
Darjeeling is also known for its tea gardens & is a producer of some of the best quality teas available in the world. Afternoon visit Tukvar Tea Garden/ Happy Valley Tea Estate to have an quique experience of tea processing & Testing.
DAY 4 : Darjeeling– New Jalpaiguri Railway Station Via Mirik
After breakfast prepare for check out from the hotel in Darjeeling and drive to the railway station/ airport where you commence your onward journey back home. Via Mirik Lake (4,900 ft.).
